About Our Founder40eleven.com was founded by Rebekah Hughes, whose design experience began while studying graphic design, layout, business marketing and journalism at James Madison University. Rebekah spent two years as the Communications Director for the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce where she developed the Chamber's first website and edited the monthly newspaper, Enterprise.
From there she came to work as an independant contractor for the Commonwealth of Virginia's EC Center at Christopher Newport University. Here she established herself as the Senior Web Developer adding dozens of websites to her portfolio. In addition, Rebekah has both developed and taught numerous Internet Courses throughout Virginia in topics such as Web Marketing; Designing an Attractive Website; and Web Usability.
In 2006 Rebekah officially began 40eleven Design Solutions where she has been helping to meet the web-related needs of small businesses throughout the area ever since.
